Diaphragm wall Construction Work in Surat-Amar Found

A diaphragm wall is a reinforced concrete wall constructed using a narrow trench excavated on the ground. Cast-in-situ diaphragm walls are used in the field of hydraulic, civil, maritime and Industrial engineering as positive impervious cutoffs for dams; as quay walls; and as earth retaining structures for basements, subways, wells, and bridge foundations; and as foundations for structures. Diaphragm walls of 1m thickness have successfully been built in soft clays of density about 1.5t/m3 and 65 m depth in this country.
